I have been working in the counseling field since 2003. Throughout my career, I have learned that the relationship between myself and my clients is one of the most crucial factors in facilitating change. When asked, “What do you remember about your experience in therapy?” clients often recall the positive and supportive statements made by their therapist.
My primary goal with each client is to create a nurturing, supportive, and empathetic environment where they feel valued and understood. I firmly believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, both of which can thrive in the right therapeutic setting.
I have extensive experience working with families, individuals, and couples, but my current focus is on individuals aged 18 and above. My practice primarily revolves around utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals heal and navigate their personal challenges.
Outside of work, I find solace in nature. In 2013, I realized a lifelong dream of becoming a certified PADI scuba diver. The ocean has always held a special place in my heart, and I find tranquility beneath its surface. Additionally, the forests and mountains provide me with a peaceful retreat. My husband and I make it a point to visit the White Mountains a few times each year.
Achieving balance in life can be daunting, and when we are not at our best, it can impact us emotionally, physically, and in our relationships. If you are seeking a new direction, healing, or ways to overcome personal obstacles, I am here to support you on your journey.
